Bhavi Paryaya pontiff of the Udupi Sri Krishna Matha Sri Sugunendratheertha Swamiji of Sri Puthige Matha visited the Tirupati Sri Venkatesha Temple on Wednesday as part of spiritual preparation for the Paryaya celebrations. His Holiness took darshan of the Deity amidst numerous devotees, including his holiness’ disciple Sri Susrindratheertha Sripada.
In the morning, after performing Sansthan Pooja at Sosale Vyasaraja Branch Matha in Tirumala, Sri Sugunendratheertha Swamiji delivered an Anugraha Sandesha. Subsequently, he had a darshan of Venkatesha along with hundreds of devotees and received homage from the Tirumala temple.
Sri Sugunendratheertha Swamiji is scheduled to arrive in Udupi on January 8 for Pura Pravesha. His Holiness will partake in dedication ceremonies across various towns from January 9 to 17. On January 18, he will ascend the Paryaya Peetha. Religious and cultural programs in Udupi are slated until January 22.
Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada has extensively visited foreign countries, spreading the essence of the Gita and Lord Krishna’s presence. Notably, he has established 15 Srikrishna Vrindavan branches abroad and aims to establish a total of 108 branches.
