Covid-19 vaccine available for eligible groups in DK on Tuesday & Friday

In response to the escalating number of Covid cases in the state, a new vaccination initiative has been introduced. Individuals above 18 years, who have completed 6 months or 26 weeks post their second dose of Covishield or Covaxin, those aged 60 and above yet to receive the precautionary dose, individuals with compromised immunity, and health workers are now eligible to receive the CorbiVax Covid-19 vaccine.
The vaccine is currently administered at various healthcare centers, including District Wenlock Hospital, Taluk Hospital in Bantwal, Belthangady, Puttur, and Sullia within Dakshina Kannada district. The vaccination sessions are scheduled every Tuesday and Friday, starting from 9 am and concluding at 1 pm.
To streamline the vaccination process, health authorities urge the public to register through the official government portal: https://www.cowin.gov.in/ .
