Udupi ‘Paryaya Mahotsava’: Series of dialogue and thought-provoking sessions begin today

Udupi: As part of the Paraya Mahotsava of Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada of Sri Puthige Matha, an array of dialogues and thought-provoking sessions are scheduled from January 9 to 17 at the Ratha Beedi (Car Street) Anandatheertha Mantapa in Udupi.

The sessions include discussions on varied themes. The series aims to offer a platform for diverse perspectives and intellectual exchanges, inviting attendees to delve into multifaceted discussions encompassing health, culture, spirituality, and societal dynamics.

On January 9 at 5 pm, the series will commence with a dialogue titled “Let’s Live Without Medicine” by culinary expert Millet Rambabu and Ayurvedic expert Dr. Sridhara Bairy.

On January 10 from 5pm onwards, orators Chakravarthy Sulibele and Sumana Bhat Kuthpadi will engage in a dialogue on the topic of ‘Pratime Pranganagala Yojane Anivaryave?’

Srilakshmi Rajkumar will deliver a lecture on “Kshatra and Adhyatma” on January 11 from 5 pm.

The discussion on “Gokutumba” scheduled for January 12 at 5 pm will involve Shailesh Holla and Prof. Pawan Kirankere.

January 13 will witness orator Adarsh Gokhale shedding light on the dynasties of Karavali and their contribution at 5 pm.

On January 15, the event will feature ‘Harikathamritham’ by Krishnaraja Bhat Kuthpadi and Arundhati Vasishtha.

Delhi activist Mohammad Faiz Khan will deliver a discourse on “Hamesha Desh Ka Asthitva Gai Mein Hi Hota Hai” on January 16 at 5 pm.

Concluding the series, a discussion on the “Relevance of Ramayana and Ramarajya” will take place on January 17 from 5 pm onwards, facilitated by Rohit Chakratheertha, Shanmukh Hebbar, and Raghupati Bhat.

All sessions are set to take place at the Ratha Beedi Anandatheertha Mantapa, providing an opportunity for attendees to engage, learn, and contribute to these insightful dialogues.
