Mangaluru: Electric auto rickshaw drivers held a protest on Wednesday, January 10 in front of the Mini Vidhan Soudha here, demanding prompt resolution of issues faced with the electric auto rickshaw service provided by a company in Baikampady.
The drivers alleged that timely repairs are not being carried out, spare parts are unavailable, and warranty conditions are not being met. Moreover, they claimed that the company is not adhering to government subsidy regulations.
During the protest, auto-rickshaw drivers confronted a company representative, who was allegedly discreetly recording videos of the demonstration.
Expressing their discontent with the company’s actions, the drivers demanded accountability and proper redressal of their grievances.
