Vishwagita Paryaya declared as Chaturtha Paryaya by Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada

Sri Puthige Matha’s Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada on Thursday said that his Chaturtha Paryaya has been declared as Vishwagita Paryaya, stating that “Vishva” signifies the world, specifically Lord Vishwanatha of Yelluru. The term “Yelluru” translates to everybody’s town, making it the Paryaya of Lord Vishweshwar at Yelluru.
Ahead of the Paryaya, Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada visited the Sri Vishweshwar temple in Yelluru on Thursday.
Lord Vishwanath, known for bestowing darshan to Sri Vadiraja, is believed to bless the Paryaya culture of Sri Krishna Math. In commemoration of this milestone, prayers have been offered for the dedication of a golden chariot to Parthasarathi Krishna at Vishweshwar temple.
The priests of the temple Venkataraja Tantri and Venkatesh Bhat, welcomed Sugunendra Theertha Sripada.
The event witnessed the presence of notable figures, including Pavitrapani K. L. Kundantaya, temple manager Rajagopal Upadhyaya, management committee chairman Arunakara Shetty Kalathur, former administrator Y. Prafulla Shetty Yelluruguthu, Member Jenny Narasimha Bhatt, Kunjur Shree Durga Temple Management Committee Chairman Devaraja Rao Nadimane, Yelluru G.P. President Raviraja Rao, Kenja Bhargava Tantri, Jenny Ananthapadmanabha Bhat and others were present.
