Paryaya 2024: Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji visits Dharmasthala

Belthangadi: Sri Sugunendra Theertha Sripada of Sri Puttige Matha, who is set to ascend the Paryaya Peetha of Udupi Sri Krishna Matha on January 18, paid a visit to the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala on January 11.

upon arrival, Swamiji was welcomed at the Dhamasthala Mahadwara by D Hashendra Kumar on behalf of the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala. Thereafter his holiness received a Darshan of the Swami Manjunatha and performed puja to the deity.

Following this, Swamiji held a discussion with Dr. D. Virendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of the Kshetra. Yathivarya, on behalf of the Dharmasthala Kshetra, conducted the Pada Puje (foot worship ritual) to the Swamiji.

Swamiji honored Dr. Heggade and his family, inviting them to the Paryaya Mahotsava.

Sri Sugunendra Theertha Swamiji was accompanied by his disciple Sri Sushreendra Theertha Swamiji. Hemavati V. Heggade, D. Harshendra Kumar, Supriya Harshendra Kumar, and other officials of the Dharmasthala Kshetra were present at the event.
