Mangaluru policeman missing since January 13

Mangaluru: A police personnel has been missing since January 13, a police press release said.
Manjunath Hegde, a 41-year-old police constable with fifteen years of service, has mysteriously disappeared. Hegde, previously stationed at Kankanadi City Police Station, was recently transferred to the Mangaluru City CCRB Unit on OOD basis.
He left home on January 13, intending to report to his new assignment. However, concerns arose when his phone was found switched off at 1 pm on the same day. Despite inquiries among friends, acquaintances, and relatives, no information about his whereabouts has surfaced, police added.
The Kankanadi City police station has registered a case regarding his disappearance. Police described Hegde as a 41-year-old man at 5.6 feet tall, wheatish complexion, round face, and full build, wearing a white and cream-colored t-shirt with blue jeans. He is proficient in Kannada, Tulu, and Hindi languages.
Police urged anyone with information to contact the Kankanadi City police station.
