Udupi: Annual ‘Churnotsava’ at Sri Krishna Matha draws enthusiastic participation

Udupi: The annual Churnotsava and Avabhritha Snana took place on Monday at Sri Krishna Matha, under the guidance of Sri Vidyasagaratheetha Sripada from Paraya Sri Krishnapura Matha.
Distinguished personalities such as Sri Vidyadhishatheertha Sripada of Palimaru Matha, Sri Vidyarajeswaratheertha Sripada, Srivisva Prasannatheertha Sripada of Pejavara Matha, Sri Vidyavallabhatheertha Sripada of Sri Kaniyur Matha, Sri Viswavallabhatheertha Sripada of Sri Sode Matha, Sri Eshapriyatheertha Sripada of Sri Adamaru Math, Sri Vedavardhanatheertha Sripada of Sri Shiroor Matha, graced the occasion. A special worship ceremony was conducted in Brahmaratha to honor Lord Krishna.
The current Paryay Sripada held the Thottilu Puja at Madhvamantapa and extended his respects to Ashta Mathadhishas. Following this, the idols of Lord Krishna Mukhaprana received the Avabhrit Snana in Madhva Lake. Thousands of attendees were served prasadam in the afternoon.
Notably, this marks the final Utsav of Sri Krishnapura Matha Paryaya, with the upcoming Sri Puthige Paraya Mahostsava of Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada of Sri Puthige Matha scheduled for Thursday.
