Shimoga: Former Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Yediyurappa emphasized that now is the moment to commend and offer blessings to Prime Minister Modi, rather than engaging in criticism.
Yediyurappa encouraged everyone to wish and pray for Modi’s return as Prime Minister without encountering any opposition.
The former CM noted a growing trend of individuals rejoining the BJP, stating that discussions are underway regarding this development. He expressed confidence that those who had left the party would eventually return, and highlighted the influx of new members joining the BJP.
As preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are already underway, Yediyurappa mentioned his own involvement in the campaign trail. He acknowledged a heightened sense of enthusiasm within the party since the appointment of Vijayendra as the state president.
Yediyurappa asserted that the return of former members to the BJP and the party’s strengthened influence would ultimately benefit the party in the upcoming elections.
When questioned about alliance seat allocation, Yediyurappa deferred to the high command, indicating that the decision lies with them.
