Sringeri: Thieves escape with Rs 1.5 lakh cash , gold

Thieves made away with cash and gold at Nemmar Shankarappa’s residence in Sringeri taluk, leaving the homeowner with losses totaling around Rs 1.50 lakh.
The incident occurred when the house was unoccupied, and the thieves gained access from the rear of the property.
The burglary was discovered by Shankarappa upon his return on Saturday evening. The Sringeri Police have registered a case in connection with the theft, initiating an investigation into the matter.
