Chikkaballapura: Gang rape of minor, Five including vctim’s mother arrested

Chikkaballapur: A case of gang rape of a minor girl has come to light about 20 days after the incident. Police have arrested 5 persons including the mother of the victim in the case.

The victim lived in Chikkaballapura with her mother, They are said to be natives of Bengaluru.

Four of the accused took the girl to a residence in Shidlaghatta where they allegedly sexually assaulted her.

A senior police officer told Udayavani that the incident took place 20 days ago and that the girl’s mother is also an accused in the case. A total of 5 persons have been taken into custody, the officer said.

It is also alleged that attempts made by some influential figures to cover up the matter.

More details yet to be revealed in the case.
