Bantwal: Car-bike collision claims life of one, 3 others injured

Punjalakatte: A bike rider died, while three others, including a child, were injured in a road accident at Madhwa in Bantwal taluk on Thursday evening, February 1.

The deceased has been identified as Pradish Shetty, a resident of Ujire TB Cross.

Reportedly Pradish was travelling towards Belthangadi from Mangaluru and his bike collided with a car coming from Belthangadi. Both vehicles were damaged in the accident.

Bike rider Pradish, the car driver, a woman, and a child travelling in the car sustained injuries in the accident. They were rushed to a hospital for treatment but Pradish died on the way.

A case has been registered at Bantwal traffic police station and investigation is underway.
