Mangaluru: Court petition seeks legal action against DK Suresh over “separate nation” remark

Mangaluru: A petition has been filed in a court in Mangaluru seeking legal action against Bengaluru Rural MP D K Suresh for his “Separate Nation” remark.

BJP leader Vikas P has filed a petition against Suresh at the 2nd JMFC Court of Mangaluru. the plea has sought the court to direct the Station Officer of Mangaluru North Police Station to register an FIR and initiate an investigation into the matter.

The petition also urges action under IPC Section 124A (sedition) for Suresh’s controversial remarks.

It is gathered that Vikas has also lodged complaints with the Mangaluru City Police Commissioner and Mangaluru North Police Station.
