A young woman, hailing from Jalandhar sat on a protest at the doorstep of a youth in Kepu village seeking that he reciprocate her love.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening and the woman was escorted by Vitla police personnel to the station to avoid any further escalation.

The woman, who is employed with a firm in Bengaluru had become acquainted with the youth from Adyanadka there and developed feelings for him. It is gathered that financial dealings had also taken place between them.

When the woman expressed her love to the youth she was met with rejection. She thus arrived at his home here and sat in front of the boy’s house in an attempt to convince him to accept her love.

As locals gathered at the spot, police also arrived at the scene. They later escorted the young woman back to the police station.
