Mangaluru: Two arrested while trying to sell illegal drugs

Mangaluru: Two persons, who were reportedly trying to sell illegal drugs, were arrested from Bondel Maidan by the Anti-Drug Squad of Mangaluru North Police Station.

The accused have been identified as Himanish (26) of Mangaluru and Pawanraj P (28) of Kotekar. The accused were trying to sell drugs in plastic covers on the bike, police said.

As much as 19 grams of methamphetamine worth Rs 57,000 was seized from the accused, police added.

A case has been filed at the Kavoor Police station in this regard.
