Rajya Sabha Elections: BJP names its candidates; Narayana Krishanasa Bhandage to contest from Karnataka

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced its lineup of 14 candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections across several states.
Narayana Krishnasa Bhandage has been nominated as BJP’s candidate for Karnataka.
Besides Karnataka, the BJP also named candidates for Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
Notable among them are Sudhanshu Trivedi and RPN Singh, who will contest from Uttar Pradesh for the Upper House. Chaudhary Tejveer Singh, Sadhna Singh, Amarpal Maurya, Sangeeta Balwant, and Naveen Jain are the other candidates in Uttar Pradesh.
Former Haryana BJP chief, Subhash Barala, has been nominated as the party’s candidate from Haryana.
Additionally, the party has nominated Dharamsheela Gupta and Bhim Singh from Bihar, Raja Devendra Pratap Singh from Chhattisgarh, Mahendra Bhatt from Uttarakhand, and Samik Bhattacharya from West Bengal.
