Udupi/M’luru: BJP protests against ‘pro-Pak sloganeering’ in Vidhana Soudha

Udupi/Mangaluru: BJP party activists on Wednesday staged a protest and gheraoed the district congress office at Udupi and Mangaluru over the alleged pro-Pakistan slogans raised in the Vidhana Soudha.

Reportedly the incident took place following the victory of Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha election.

In Udupi, the protest was led by MLA Yashpal Suvarna along with leaders Rajesh Kaveri, Veena Shetty, Satish Shetty, and other youth wing members.

At both Mangaluru and Udupi, the BJP workers were detained by the police as they tried to storm into the Congress office. They were released later.
