BJP MP Tejaswi Surya on Thursday said that division is deeply embedded in Congress’s identity, citing recent incidents of pro-Pakistan slogans being heard in the corridors of Vidhana Soudha.
“Congress is the main party to divide the country. Divisiveness is inherent in the DNA of the Congress party itself,” Surya remarked, adding that such tendencies were to be expected from the party.
Looking ahead to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Surya expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects, particularly in South India. He predicted that the BJP alliance would secure all 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka and achieve significant success in Telangana and Tamil Nadu, terming it a historic mandate. Additionally, he anticipated that the BJP would gain representation in Kerala and witness an increase in vote percentage in Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, Surya announced BJP president JP Nadda’s upcoming address at the ‘Namo Maha Yuva Sammelna’ rally scheduled to take place in Nagpur on March 4. He highlighted that more than one lakh youth from Maharashtra were expected to participate in the convention, underscoring the party’s efforts to engage with the youth demographic.
