Chikkamagaluru: Coffee plantation owner arrested for cultivating cannabis

The Central Enforcement Network (CEN) police have held the owner of a coffee plantation in Chikkamagaluru on charges of cultivating ganja alongside coffee plants.
The individual in custody has been identified as Rajendra, hailing from Kelholagadde village.
It has come to light that Rajendra had illicitly planted ganja amidst the coffee shrubs several months back. Acting on a tip-off, the CEN police conducted a raid on the coffee plantation.
During the operation, authorities confiscated approximately 100 grams of raw ganja and took Rajendra into custody.
