Katapady: Driver escapes with minor injuries after car plunges into drain

A car veered out of control, plunging into a drain near Kallapu on National Highway 66 on Saturday. Miraculously, the driver escaped with only minor injuries.
The car, bearing a Gujarat registration and en route from Udupi to Mangalore, lost control and plummeted into a drain situated adjacent to the highway.
The injured driver has been admitted to the hospital.
