Udupi: Traffic routes modified due to Perdoor Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple fair

Udupi: The district administration has notified the changes in vehicular traffic routes on National Highway 169(A) due to the annual fair at the Perdoor Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple. These measures will be in effect from 4 pm to 10 pm on March 16.
Vehicles traveling on NH 169 (A) from Udupi towards Hebri and Agumbe, will be diverted at the Hiriyadaka junction. From there, drivers should opt for either the Kottanakatte-Harikhandige-Bairampalli-Perdoor Melpete route or the Hiriadaka Baje, Kukkehalli, Pethri route to reach Hebri, Agumbe.
Conversely, vehicles heading from Agumbe-Hebri towards Udupi on NH 169(A) must reroute through the Perdoor Melpete-Bairampalli Harikhandige-Kottanakatte-Hiriadaka junction to reach Udupi.
Additionally, vehicles traveling on NH 169(A) from Hebri to Perdoor and towards Pethri-Brahmavar are advised to take the detour via Karje, Pethri, Brahmavara using the Alangaru Road near Perdoor Melpet.
Residents and commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly, considering the temporary alterations in traffic routes.
