Raid on Minister’s residence: Election officials act on code violation allegations

The residence of Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar was reportedly raided by Election Officers following a meeting held at her residence on Wednesday morning.
The meeting, attended by approximately 500 Asha and Anganwadi workers, drew the attention of the officers, led by District Election Officer Nitesh Patil.
They promptly conducted a raid, filming the gathering and dispersing the attendees from the premises.
Election officials have confirmed that a case has been filed regarding this incident.
