Hebri: A dispute between siblings culminated in the untimely demise of a youth on the night of March 31.

The victim, Manjunath, son of Gulabi and a resident of Kajke Palajeseddu, was allegedly murdered by his younger brother Vishwanath (30), who has since been apprehended by authorities.

Reportedly, Manjunath and Vishwanath had a history of discord, often engaging in heated arguments.

On the fateful night, after consuming alcohol, Manjunath confronted Vishwanath, blaming him for his marital woes and accusing him of driving his wife away.

In a fit of rage, Vishwanath purportedly struck Manjunath on the head with a stick, leading to fatal injuries. The resulting trauma caused severe bleeding, ultimately resulting in Manjunath’s demise.

The authorities swiftly intervened, arresting Vishwanath and initiating an investigation into the incident.
