Padubidri: A driver parked the bus across the lanes of the National Highway following a dispute over timings on Thursday. The video clips of the incident have gone viral on social media.

It is gathered that an argument broke out between Kapu’s timekeeper, Sharath, and private bus driver Aziz about timing. The matter escalated when Sharath reportedly stood in front of the service bus at Padubidri blocking its path. Angered by the provocation, Aziz parked the bus across the lanes and took a “rest” at the bus stop.

In this farce that lasted for about 5 minutes, the highway traffic from Udupi towards Mangaluru was hampered. Padubidri police had to intervene in the matter.

A complaint and a counter-complaint have been filed at Padubidri Police Station regarding the incident.
