Dharwad jail staffer killed in car-bike accident

A collision between a car and a bike claimed the life of a police personnel working in Dharwad Central Jail on Friday night here.

The deceased has been identified as Rudrappa Siddanna.

The mishap occurred on Friday night when Rudrappa was returning home after finishing his duty.

Rudrappa sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot.

Garaga station police visited the spot and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered.
