M’luru: Barber stabbed, accused arrested

Mangaluru: Bolar Police arrested a person in connection with the stabbing and injuring of a 65-year-old man at his shop in Bolar on Friday night

The accused identified as Anand Sapalya (49), a resident of Bantwal Taluk has been booked under Section 324,307,504,506 of the IPC.

The injured, Edwin Vinay Kumar (65) was running a barber shop. On Saturday around 7 pm, Anand had come to the shop in an inebriated condition. He stabbed Edwin following a petty dispute, police said.

Edwin was taken to Wenlock Hospital for medical treatment. Police reached the crime scene and conducted an inspection.
