Udupi: Biker killed, pillion rider injured in fatal collision

Udupi: A bike rider was killed on the spot while another person, riding pillion, sustained serious injuries after their two-wheeler collided with a tipper lorry on Ambagilu-Udupi main road here.
The deceased has been identified as Prabhakar Achari, a native of Matpady in Brahmavara. The pillion rider has been admitted to Manipal Hospital for treatment.
The bike was proceeding towards Ambagilu main road from Perampally when it came under the wheels of the tipper.
