Udupi: Ram Navami Mahotsav was celebrated with religious fervor in the branch monasteries of Udupi’s Sri Puthige Matha.
Grand events were held, with Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsav taking center stage at Sri Putthge Matha Srikrishna Vrindavan in New Jersey, USA. Alongside, Srirampattabhisheka was also observed.
The rituals were led by Chief priest Yogindra Bhat Uli.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the construction of a replica of the Ram Mandir this year by the team of Raghavendra Murthy, which captured the attention of devotees.
Prasannacharya, the general secretary of Matha’s overseas branches, conducted the Kalyanotsava and invited to the audience to visit the Sri Puthige Matha with the handwritten Bhagwad Gita copies for the ‘Koti Gita Lekhana Yajna’ which began during the Sri Puthige Paryayothsava.
Adding to the festive spirit, various Sri Ram Bhajan dances performed by the children during the Kalyanotsava brought much joy to the attendees.
At Houston’s Sri Krishna Vrindavan, along with Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsav various teams held Akhand Bhajan programs from dawn to dusk.
Sitarama Kalyana Mahotsav was also marked in other branches of Sri Puthige Matha, uniting devotees in the joyous celebration of this auspicious occasion.
