Polali: Case filed against a man for molesting minor

Polali: A minor girl was molested by a man on Wednesday, April 24.

The accused, identified as Amin Yane Mohammad Amin, a resident of Badakabilu, allegedly approached the girl from behind, forcefully hugged her, and tightly gripped her hand, preventing her from turning around.

The victim recounted that the accused demanded her mobile number and threatened her with rape if she refused to comply. The situation took a fortunate turn when a relative of the victim approached, causing the accused to flee the scene on a scooter.

Following the incident, a case was registered against the accused at the Bantwala Rural Police Station.
