Bantwal: A man was stabbed and injured in Kumdale near Farangipet on Friday.
The victim has been identified as Pawan, a resident of Kumdel.
It is gathered that a person named Charan Raj allegedly stabbed Pawan on Friday with a sharp object used in cockfighting. The two had been involved in frequent fights due to an old enmity.
Pawan who has been injured in the incident was rushed to a hospital in Mangaluru, where he is receiving medical treatment.
Bantwal Rural police are investigating the incident.
