Padubidri: A goods-laden lorry came to a halt in the opposite lane after its tyre burst on the Udupi-Mangaluru National Highway here on Saturday morning.
The mishap has affected vehicular movement on the highway and Padubidri police have directed the concerned authorities to clear the lorry as soon as possible.
Reportedly the spot where the lorry broke down is said to be an accident-prone zone and police have taken precautionary measures by placing barricades.
