Tragic electrocution incident claims life of petrol pump worker in Kavoor

Sandeep Kumar Verma, a 45-year-old pump attendant hailing from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, tragically lost his life after sustaining severe injuries in an electrocution accident at a petrol pump in Kavoor.

The incident occurred when Sandeep, who worked as an electrician at the pump, was conducting maintenance work on Sunday. While using a ladder to access an electric pole, it accidentally came into contact with an electric wire, resulting in Sandeep being electrocuted and subsequently falling from the ladder.

Suffering from critical injuries, Sandeep was rushed to a nearby private hospital in the city for urgent medical attention. However, despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries before receiving adequate treatment.
