The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board announced the results of the SSLC exam-1 for the current academic year.

Students can check their results on the official website of the board at https://karresults.nic.in.

In a notable trend, girls have outperformed boys in this year’s examination. Udupi district has secured the top position, boasting a remarkable pass percentage of 94%. Following closely behind is Dakshina Kannada district with a pass percentage of 92.12%. Conversely, Yadgiri district has recorded the lowest pass percentage at 50.59%.

Overall, a total of 631,204 students have passed the SSLC exam this year, resulting in a pass percentage of 73.40%. Notably, the examination was conducted under CCTV surveillance, leading to a 30% reduction in malpractice incidents and subsequently boosting the pass rate. As a result, the rate of gratuity has been increased from 10% to 20%.

The SSLC examination for the academic year 2023-24 was held by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board from March 25 to August 6. Board President expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examination, noting that a total of 8.69 lakh students appeared for the exam.
