Mangaluru: Scuffle outside railway station – Police book suo moto case

Mangaluru: The police have registered a case in connection with the scuffle outside the Mangaluru Central Railway station that occurred on Wednesday.

Taking cognizance of the incident, Mangaluru South Police have registered a suo moto case against 7 persons based on the video evidence.

An investigation is currently underway.

It may be recalled that a scuffle broke out over an alleged parking issue at the railway station. Two people on a two-wheeler had come to pick up the couple who had come by train. They had parked the vehicle near the railway station. The parking attendant and autorickshaw drivers raised objections and allegedly thrashed the train passengers and two others. Video of the incident had gone viral on social media.
