T20 World Cup: KMF’s Nandini official sponsor of Scotland men’s team

The Scotland cricket team has revealed its new jersey for the upcoming T20 World Cup, and it features the logo of Karnataka’s very own Nandini dairy.

This marks the first time that the Nandini brand, managed by the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), is sponsoring an international cricket team.

The players’ T-shirts now sport the Nandini logo, written in Kannada, on their sleeves.

Cricket Scotland, in a social media post, announced the partnership, stating, “Cricket Scotland and Karnataka Milk Federation are pleased to announce Nandini as the official sponsor of the Scotland men’s team at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.”

Interestingly, Nandini is not only backing Scotland but also the Ireland cricket team, another participant in the T20 World Cup. The tournament is set to take place in the West Indies and the United States of America.

MK Jagadish, the managing director of KMF, revealed that they are proud sponsors of both Ireland and Scotland teams for the T20 World Cup. He expressed excitement about seeing the Nandini brand prominently displayed during the matches.

Expanding beyond cricket, Nandini is also entering the energy-drink market in the United States with ‘Nandini Splash,’ a whey-based energy drink. Jagadish shared, “We want to make Nandini a focus point in the World Cup. Whey-based energy drinks will be available in the US market during the tournament, and it is going to be a global brand.”
