ISIS links: Former MLA Idinabba’s grandson granted bail by Delhi HC

Ullal: The Delhi High Court granted bail to former MLA Idinabba’s grandson Ammar Abdul Rehman, who was arrested under the UAPA Act.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested Rehman on August 21, 2021 over alleged links with ISIS.

The NIA found a few pieces of evidence, including pictures of Osama bin Laden, ISIS flags, and pro-ISIS speeches in the accused’s mobile and laptop.

Ammar Abdul Rahman had approached the Delhi High Court after a trial court denied his bail petition. He was finally granted bail after a long trial.
