The heavy rain continues in the Malnad region, with torrential downpours throughout the Kalasa taluk, disrupting everyday life.

In the Kudremukh ghat area of Chikkamagalur district, the heavy rains have caused an increase in the water levels of the Bhadra river.

In Kalasa taluk, the rainwater is cascading down the steps of Dakshina Kashi Kalaseshwara Swamy Temple.

The heavy winds and rain have disrupted life for the people of Kalasa, with fallen trees causing power outages in several rural areas.
