SHEOPUR (MP): A boating tragedy struck the Seep river in Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur district on Saturday when a vessel carrying 11 individuals capsized.

According to authorities, six people were found unresponsive, and four others were rescued, with a search underway for one missing person.

Locals reported that strong winds contributed to the incident, which occurred around 4:45 PM in the Manpur area, approximately 40 km from the district headquarters.

Sheopur Superintendent of Police Abhishek Anand confirmed the details, mentioning that the victims’ conditions would be assessed by doctors.
