Thekkatte: Rider injured in car-bike collision

Thekkatte: A car collided with a motorbike on the National Highway at Jannadi within the jurisdiction of Hardalli Mandalli Gram Panchayat, resulting in serious injuries to the bike rider on the morning of June 1.
The injured bike rider has been identified as Sanjeev Poojary (50), a resident of Heggodlu Patre.
The accident occurred when a car reportedly traveling at high speed from Bengaluru towards Kundapura collided with the bike, which was heading towards Haladi.
As a result, the bike rider sustained severe injuries to his arms and legs and was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Koteshwar.
The intensity of the accident caused extensive damage to the front of the car and the bike. The car landed in a roadside ditch and came to a stop.
The accident was blamed on the car’s high speed and negligence. A case has been registered at the Kota Police Station regarding the incident.
