PTI, Jun 2, 2024, 1:56 PM IST
Following the successful test-flight of Agnibaan SOrTeD, Chennai-based space startup Agnikul Cosmos is gearing up to begin satellite launches by early next year.
Speaking exclusively to PTI, Agnikul’s Co-founder and CEO Srinath Ravichandran highlighted the innovative use of 3D-printed semi-cryogenic engines and rockets. ‘Customers can expect quicker turnaround times and customized launch vehicles,’ he said.
The Agnibaan SOrTeD suborbital flight, which lasted 66 seconds, marked a significant milestone despite several earlier failed attempts. ‘It was a monumental relief and a valuable learning experience,’ shared Ravichandran.
