Belthangadi: Prajwal H.M., a standout student from Excel Pre-Graduation College in Guruwayanakere, has achieved an impressive score of 710 out of 720 in the NEET (National Medical Eligibility and Entrance Test). In recognition of his remarkable performance, the college management, led by President Sumanth Kumar Jain, awarded him a prize of Rs 10 lakh.
The award ceremony was a proud moment for Prajwal and his family. Prajwal received the honor in the presence of his parents, Mariswamy H.M. and Soumya. Sumanth Kumar Jain, president of the organization, presented the prize to Prajwal, celebrating his outstanding academic achievement.
Prajwal narrowly missed a perfect score due to a slight stumble on one question, which could have made him one of the two students in the district to achieve a flawless 720 out of 720.
To celebrate Prajwal’s achievement, the college management, along with teachers and students, organized a procession from the college premises to the Belthangadi bus stand. The procession featured an open vehicle, with Prajwal’s parents in attendance, and various organizations came together to honor him.
The event saw the presence of dignitaries, including Management Board President Sumanth Kumar Jain, Secretary Abhiram, Principal Dr. Naveen Kumar M., Sahana Jain from the Governing Body, Administrator Kirtinidhi, Shantiraj Jain, Professors Srinidhi Raj, Nisha Pujari, Wilson Talthotti, Keshav Rao, Dr. Satyanarayan Bhatt, Ishwar Sharma, Jaisa Antony, Chiju Prakash, Grishin D’Souza, Dr. Austin D’Souza, and Public Relations Officer Richard Jeevan Moras. Professors and students of the college also participated in the celebration, making it a memorable occasion for all involved.
