Bantwal: Men brandish swords; flee after police raid

Bantwal: Bantwal Rural Police conducted a raid at a public area in Badagabellur after receiving information about a group of men wielding swords and creating fear among the people on June 9 evening.
The suspects identified as Bhojaraj, Vinod, Vivek, Rakshit, and Rakshak, were allegedly intimidating people with swords.
Following the complaint, the police team led by PSI Harish M.R. conducted the raid. However, the suspects fled the spot upon seeing the police jeep.
When the police inspected the auto rickshaw parked nearby they found swords inside. A case has been registered against the suspects under the Arms Act at the Bantwal Rural Police Station.
