Bengaluru: Rain continues in most districts of the state, prompting a Yellow Alert to be issued for various districts, including Udupi, until June 13.
Heavy rainfall is expected in the districts of Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Bidar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Vijayapura, Shivamogga, and Chikkamagaluru. Therefore, a Yellow Alert has been declared until June 13.
In Bengaluru, moderate rain is expected to continue until June 14.
The shear zone is located at 17 degrees north latitude in the northern part of Karnataka, at an elevation of 3.1 to 5.8 kilometers.
As a result, widespread rain is expected in the coastal region from June 12 to 14. Some parts of the southern and northern interior regions may also experience rain, according to C.S. Patil, a weather department expert.
