Mangaluru: The Congress government in Karnataka is running a Taliban-style administration, alleged a Leader of Opposision R Ashoka at a recent press conference.
He claimed that law and order in the state have deteriorated significantly, particularly in coastal areas where Hindu activists have been continuously attacked.
He highlighted a specific incident in Boliyar, where BJP workers chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” were allegedly attacked in a pre-planned act.
After visiting the victims of a stabbing attack, the spokesperson reiterated, “The activists have not made any slogan other than ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’.” He called on the police to provide records if any other slogans were chanted.
The BJP plans to hold a meeting tomorrow in Bengaluru under the leadership of the state president to discuss their strategy. The spokesperson emphasized that the district administration should cover the medical expenses of the injured, and called for the withdrawal of cases against innocent Hindu activists. He assured BJP workers that the party stands firmly with them and will provide assistance as needed.
Criticizing the Congress government’s performance over the past year, he stated, “The achievement of the state Congress in the last one year is zero. This has been proved in the Lok Sabha elections.”
