Ramanagara: 2 college students killed in road mishap

Ramanagara: Two students of a private engineering college in Bengaluru were killed and another injured in a road mishap on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway in Ramanagara Taluk on Friday night.

The deceased identified as Vishwa (21) and Surya (21), originally from Andhra Pradesh were classmates. The car driver was injured in the mishap and has been admitted to hospital.

The mishap occurred around 12.30 am when the students were returning to Bengaluru from Mysuru after completing some work.

The front portion of the car was completely damaged in the mishap. The mortal remains of the deceased have been shifted to Ramanagara District Hospital.

Ramanagara Traffic Police registered a case against the lorry driver and an investigation is underway.
