Bengaluru: In a remarkable feat, High Court Justice M. Nagaprasanna heard 600 cases in a single day’s session on Tuesday.

From the outset, it was scheduled that all these cases would be addressed on the same day. True to the plan, Justice Nagaprasanna completed the hearings by 3:56 PM, wrapping up the session as scheduled. Out of the 600 cases, interim orders were issued for 180 petitions.

Justice Nagaprasanna completed the hearing of 87 cases and disposed of them. Notably, on March 22, he had heard 801 petitions in a single day, issuing reserved judgments for 36 of them and disposing of approximately 572 petitions.

Among the cases resolved, 544 were related to the Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB).

Previously, Justice Krishna S. Dixit had disposed of approximately 750 petitions in a single day’s session.
