Vijayalakshmi Darshan, wife of Kannada actor Darshan, has broken her silence regarding the murder allegations against her husband. She has filed for an injunction to prevent the media from spreading unverified information about the ongoing investigation.
In a recent Instagram post, Vijayalakshmi shared an image of the injunction order. Her caption read: “Firstly, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of the late Sri Renukaswamy. The past few days have been incredibly distressing for Darshan, myself, our teenage son, and all of Darshan’s friends, family, and fans.”
She added, “I hope this order from the Honourable Court will help quell the spread of false information and rumors circulating in the media and on social media platforms. I appeal to everyone to only publish information that is officially released by the authorities. I have unwavering faith in Ma Chamundeshwari and our legal system. Let justice prevail.”
On Wednesday, Vijayalakshmi appeared before the police to record her statement on the Renukaswamy murder case.
Sources claims that the police team recovered loafers from her house that were allegedly worn by Darshan on the day of Renukaswamy’s murder.
It is also said that Darshan performed puja along with wife Vijayalakshmi before heading to Mysuru from where he was arrested on June 11.
Darshan has been arrested in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy. According to the police, he confessed to providing Rs 30 lakh to another accused, Pradosh, to handle the body disposal and ensure his involvement remained hidden. This money was reportedly recovered from Pradosh’s residence.
