Vijayapura: Senior BJP leader Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, has confirmed the truth behind the ongoing reconciliation efforts to resolve differences with former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and BJP state president Vijayendra.

Addressing presspersons during an International Yoga Day event in the city, Yatnal disclosed that he was offered the position of BJP national general secretary. “I have told the mediators that Vijayendra can keep that position; I will become the state president,” he elaborated.
