Former CM Yediyurappa visits Dharmasthala temple

Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa on Sunday visited the Dharmasthala temple. During his visit, he met Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade and engaged in discussions.
This morning, Yediyurappa, along with Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, offered prayers at the temple.
Speaking to the media, afterwards, Yediyurappa expressed his happiness about visiting Dharmasthala after many years with his friends. He mentioned that he prayed to Lord Manjunatha for rain and prosperity in his hometown, which has been facing drought.
He further accused the Congress government of neglecting public welfare. He claimed that under the Congress administration, the state’s development has lagged behind and irrigation projects have come to a halt.
Yediyurappa stated that the BJP, under the leadership of state president B.Y. Vijayendra, will present facts and figures and fight for development. He also mentioned that in all upcoming elections, the BJP will coordinate with the JD(S) to move forward.
Belthangady MLA Harish Poonja, Belthangady BJP Mandal President Srinivas Rao, and several others accompanied Yediyurappa during the visit.
