Kundapura: The search for T.R. Yogeesh (23) from Tiptur taluk, Tumakuru district, who went missing after being swept away by the sea at Beejadi Beach, has entered its fifth day.

Despite the challenging conditions, police have continued their search efforts.

The high intensity of the waves has made it extremely difficult to deploy boats and other vessels for the search.

The severe weather and strong winds have further complicated the operation, posing significant risks to the rescue teams.

Small Boats Deployed in Search

Local residents have been asked to report any clues regarding the missing youth. Small boats are being used to search the coastline from Gangolli to Kodi and Beejadi.

Local fishermen reported sighting a dead body near Thrase, but efforts to retrieve it have been unsuccessful. On Sunday, the Kundapura Fire Department conducted a search operation, followed by the Kundapura police team extending their search to Bhatkal on Monday.
